Digging deeper

Angela says her focus is to help business make the right strategic decisions.

“I strongly believe that it’s important that businesses invest resources and time to develop capability and structures to provide strong strategic and financial analysis and decision making support. I understand that an organisation’s success is strongly corelated to its ability to provide forward looking insights and strategic financial decision support.

What you can expect from me is an open and friendly approach, a willingness to roll up the sleeves and work collaboratively across teams, while questioning the status quo. I have a strategic mindset and work quickly to assess the key questions and issues to be addressed. I believe that advisory support needs to ensure knowledge is transferred into the teams I work with.

I have built up a broad experience set with over 25+ years of financial experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Having worked in professional services (PWC), Crown entities (Public Trust) and large corporates (Telewest UK, Royal Sun Alliance UK Auckland Airport, IAG NZ, and Synlait Milk).

Outside of my career as a consultant, I am an independent director on two NZ companies and am Trustee of Auckland Softball Foundation Trust. I enjoy investing in new and innovative start-ups, to help me remain relevant to new trends and developments. I recently spent 4 years on CAANZ council and still continue to support CAANZ where I can.

While not working I am busy supporting my children with their many sporting interests, taking long walks with our golden retriever and connecting with friends and family. I am Auckland based, but able to work across the country as required.”
